 1. An Ordinance To Amend Fauquier County Code Section 8-29.2 To Create A Separate Tangible Personal Property Tax Classification For One Vehicle Owned By A Disabled Veteran - Code of Virginia § 58.1-3506(A)(19) allows the County to declare "one motor vehicle owned and regularly used by a veteran who has either lost, or lost the use of, one or both legs, or an arm or a hand, or who is blind or who is permanently and totally disabled" a separate classification of personal property. This would then allow the County to levy a lower tax rate on such personal property than what applies generally to personal property in the County. (Richard Gerhardt, Cedar Run District Supervisor, Sponsor; Tracy A. Gallehr, Deputy County Attorney, Staff)
 2. An Ordinance to Approve Rezoning Amendment REZN-19-012063, Willow Creek Proffer Amendment - An Application to Amend Previously Approved Proffers Associated with REZN05-CR-004, Which Do Not Affect Use or Density, PIN 6981-45-6906-000, Cedar Run District - The Board of Supervisors rezoned the property currently known as Willow Creek on June 14, 2007, subject to proffers (REZN05-CR-004). This approval allowed for the development of 68 residential lots, which were never developed.  On December 14, 2016, a Deed of Gift of Conservation Easement was recorded on the property granting the Land Trust of Virginia a conservation easement over PIN 6981-45-6906-000.  The easement prohibits future subdivision of the property and only allows for one dwelling and limited accessory structures to be constructed.  Subsequently, the Board of Supervisors  on October 12, 2017 approved COMA-17-006643 which removed the Willow Creek parcel from the Opal Service District.  The current owners are seeking an amendment to the Willow Creek proffers, to allow them to be consistent with the conservation easement. The property is located at the end of Avenel Drive (Route 1150), north of Opal. (Opal Development Partners, LLC/Devin T. Finan, Manager, Owner/Applicant, Sponsor; Adam Shellenberger, Chief of Planning, Staff)
