A Resolution to Authorize Starting Salary Adjustments for Sheriff Office Positions of Deputy Sheriff through Deputy Sheriff - Corporal
Topic Description:
To request the authorization to adjust the salary of the positions of Deputy Sheriff through the Position of Deputy Sheriff Corporal.  This action is necessary due the fact that the Sheriff's Office is experiencing recruitment and retention problems with it's Deputy Sheriff position due to the competitive nature of the employment market.

Requested Action:
Consider adoption of the attached Resolution.
Financial Impact Analysis:
$34,860 from the Contingency Reserve to fund the associated costs for FY 2017, and the FY 2018 proposed budget will be amended to fund the ongoing costs for this program.
