Topic: |
A Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to Sections 3-318, 6-102 and 15-300 Related to Sales of Agricultural Products and Agricultural Events |
|
Topic Description: |
This proposed text amendment addresses the sale of agricultural products and value-added agricultural products, as well as agricultural-related events. The proposal expands the range of sales and activities that are allowed by-right on a property to include all those activities previously requiring a Farm Sales Administrative Permit. It also allows a broad range of agriculture-related events that are currently allowed neither by-right nor with an Administrative permit to occur by-right. On August 29, 2013, the Planning Commission unanimously voted to forward this item to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of approval. On November 14, 2013, the Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and deferred action for further refinement of the proposed Ordinance language. |
